Deceased Name: Roswell Brayton Jr.
Woolrich executive, 55
Roswell Brayton Jr., 55, the president and CEO of Woolrich Inc. who guided the
clothing company into new retail areas such as outdoors products, home furnishings
and even bottled water, died Monday.
He collapsed at company headquarters in Woolrich, in central Pennsylvania, and was
rushed to Jersey Shore Hospital but could not be revived, company marketing director
Tim Joseph said Tuesday in a statement.
Mr. Brayton, a majority owner of the privately held company, was a sixth-generation
member of the Rich family, which founded the company in 1830. He grew up in
Woolrich and joined the company in 1977, becoming president in 1996 and CEO the
following year.
An article about Robert F Rich suggests that his son Roswell Brayton was married to a
woman surnamed Rich; they would be the parents of Roswell Jr
trees on awt have him married to "Living Hallow" ??
And I find a longer obit at www.nationaltextile.org/people/brayton_roswell_jr, giving
his wife's name as Sally. Second marriage? Why does Hope H Roswell show up in pub
rec on ancestry at same address, that correlates with her father's obit. She and
Roswell show up at same address in Louisville in 1980
Aha, also showing up with him in Williamsport is Sally Hallow Brayton, b 3 Aug 1957.
So ... who is the mother of his children?
Here is the obit from nationaltextile.org
