 2.  TABOR CITY -- Ralph Gubler Jorgensen, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. He 
was the son of the late Thorvald W. Jorgensen and Florence Gubler Jorgensen. He 
was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Spivey Jorgensen. He was an attorney for 
more than 40 years.
 A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 in the Inman Funeral Home 
Chapel.

 He is survived by one daughter, Misty Jorgensen of Tabor City; and one brother, 
Thomas A. Jorgensen of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
 3.  Long-time Tabor City lawyer dies in single-vehicle crash
 DELCO - Ralph G. Jorgensen, a lawyer in Tabor City for more than four decades, died 
in a one-vehicle crash in eastern Columbus County on Thursday night, Sgt. John Lewis 
of the North Carolina Highway Patrol said Friday.
 "We don't think the crash killed him," Lewis said. "We suspect a heart attack or 
some other medical condition."
 Jorgensen's minivan left the westbound lane of U.S. 74-76 near Dew Oil Plant Road 
about 7 p.m., struck a parked car and rolled over. Jorgensen, 76, was alone in his 
vehicle and was returning to Tabor City after attending a meeting in Wilmington, Lewis 
said.
