Charlotte Ross Mullins passed away on May 19, 2019. She was born on October 18, 
1932 in Madison, Va. and graduated from Madison County High School. She was a 
dedicated volunteer and member of the Madison Senior Center for over 10 years. She 
was also instrumental in the opening of the Nest Egg. 
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elise Garton; a brother, 
Joseph (Tommy) Garton, III, her first husband, Henry P. Ross, Jr., her second 
husband, William Mullins; two grandsons; one granddaughter, and a special friend 
Oscar Settle.
She leaves behind sons, Harry L. Ross and wife Mildred of Warrenton, Robert (Bobby) 
G. Ross and wife Eugene of Front Royal, Va., Larry E. Ross and wife Rebecca of 
Herndon, Va., step-son, Mitchell Mullins and wife Lisa of Lignum; daughters, Debra 
Sue Ross, of Madison, Tania R. Thomas and husband Johnny of Orange, Wanda R. 
Sommer and husband Clifton of Spencer, West Va,; sister, Priscilla Causey of Myrtle 
Beach, S.C..; special grandson, William (David) Crawford and wife Kelly; 16 
grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 23 at the 
Madison Senior Center.

Street, Madison, Va. 22727.
