From The Naples Record 27 December 1916
A pretty wedding occurred today, December 27, 1916, at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Mansel H. Potter, of Italy, when their youngest daughter, Pearl Phylance, 
became the bride of Mr. William Olney, of Ingleside. The ceremony was performed at 
12pm, Rev. A. H. McKnight, pastor of the
Naples Baptist church, hearing the marriage vows. As the wedding march was being 
played by Mrs. Dana E. Barker, sister of the bride, the wedding party entered the 
parlor and took their places beneath an arch of green and white. The bride was 
tastefully gowned in white crepe de chine, trimmed with white satin and shadow lace, 
and carried a shower bouquet of white carnations. She was attended by her sister, 
Miss Edna Potter, who wore blue silk poplin. Mr. Ray Potter, of Springwater, was best 
man. After the ceremony a wedding dinner
was served by several young girl friends of the bride. The dining room
was decorated in pink and white, and at the bride's table covers were laid for ten. The 
bride was the recipient of many useful and beautiful gifts.
