1868 family moved from Heber to Coalville where his father worked in coal mines. 
Harry hired out to build roadbed for railroad. 1874 family moved to Glenwood. 1877, he 
joined United Order and was active member for 5 years.  Did mission to Michigan and 
Minn 1882-84, on return, bishop of Aurora Ward, Sevier Stake, 1884-90. After 2d marr, 
called to British Mission to escape prison for polygamy. Remained in Ireland until Oct 
1889. On return, arrested, served 6 mos in Utah Territorial prison. Less than 3 weeks 
after release, Manifesto issued, so they moved to Colonia Dublan in 1891, where they 
stayed until 1912 when Mexican Revolution made them flee back to U.S. Was co-
founder of town of Virden.
