Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 15, with her children by her side, Wilhelmina P.
Blankenbaker (Willie) reached the end of her life. She was the devoted wife for 41
years of the late Lloyd Woodrow Blankenbaker; loving mother of Dwight Blankenbaker
(Linda) and Judy Gresham (Daniel); terrific grandmother to Timothy Blankenbaker
(Tricia Lutz), Stacey Blankenbaker (Marcus Schneider), and Brant Gresham; and
adoring great-grandmother of Jack and Ryan Blankenbaker and Milo Schneider.
Willie "walked the walk" of her Christian faith through her selfless compassion and
unwavering love for family and many friends. The world is a lesser place without her.
A memorial service will be held at The Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 South Leisure World
Blvd., Silver Spring, MD 20906, on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 1:30 pm. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Inter-Faith Chapel.
