Robert Bruce Boys, 80, of Manchester, beloved husband for 60 years of Henrietta E. 
Boys, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Saint Francis 
Hospital with his family by his side. 

Bob was born May 10, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, and had resided in Manchester for 46 
years. He served in the Merchant Marines during WW II. Prior to retiring, he was 
employed by Kraft Foods for 41 years as a district manager. Bob was a member of the 
Elks Club, Army & Navy Club, Moose Club, and camped for 23 years at the Odetah 
Campgrounds. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. 

In addition to his wife, Henrietta, he is survived by a son, Bruce Boys and his wife, 
Karen; a caring daughter, Sandra Terragna; five grandsons, Jason, Ben, Jacob, 
Jesse, and Dan; a granddaughter, Kara Terragna, the apple of his eye; four great-
grandchildren, Bailey, Colby, Chloe, and Allie. Bob will be missed greatly by his family 
and friends.

for a Bruce A. Boys in Conn.




The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at St. Francis Hospital CICU for their 
compassion and care. 

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 
Main Street, Manchester. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. 

There are no calling hours. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Heart Unit Fund, c/o 
CICU, St. Francis Hospital, 114 Woodland Street, Hartford, CT 06105. 

Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester is in care of arrangements.
