Florence E. Volkers, 36, former assistant cashier at the Bank of Carmel, was indicted 
today on 10 counts of missapplication of funds.
"Mrs. Volkers, who was in charge of the bank's loan department, is alleged to have 
embezzled $10,277 in three years by withholding from $10 to $20 a day from interest 
payments on loans"

selling her home and securities
