per her mother's obit in 1924, she was principal of the high school in Lansdowne.

In 1940 she presented to Julian Maule the bible that Jacob Maule had given to her 
uncle Mordecai Lewis Maule, who in turn had presented it to her. Which then passed 
from Julian to James Edward Maule.
