. Gertrude KING was born on 8 Sep 1856 in Clymer Twp., Tioga Co., PA. She died on 
5 Aug 1907. She was buried on 7 Aug 1907 in Guile Family Lot, Mt. Pleasant, 
Cemetery. Gertrude King Guile 
Monday morning at 4 O'Clock occured the death of Mrs. Gertrude Guile from a 
paralytic stroke on Saturday, August 3rd. Mrs. Guile had started for the 
Grange Hall and when near the Dodge farm got in to ride with J. Cuer. She was 
feeling well and talking when suddenly she was taken ill. Mr. Cuer drove her 
to the office of Dr. Patterson and from there she was takien home with all 
possible speed. Mrs. Guile was born Sept.8, 1856 in Clymerand was married to 
Horace Guile July 4, 1882. To them were born 2 children:. Mrs. Ava Guile King 
and Lee Guile. Both of whom are living. She is also survived by her husband 
and 3 sisters: Lottie, Candice, and Lena King. All of this place. Mrs. Guile 
is a highly respected and esteemed lady and one who had a large circle of 
friends and asquaintenances and a woman whi will be greatly mossed. The 
funeral was conducted from her late home Wednesday at 2 O'Clock. Rev. Mrs. 
Eaves of the Universalist Church officated. Burial was in the Guile Family 
lot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
