Charis Nicole Gohel, 26, of Columbia died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Christian Fellowship. Burial will be in 
Perche Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 
at Christian Fellowship.

Mrs. Gohel was born Aug. 23, 1977, in Metairie, La., to Doug and Sally Phillips.

She married Amarjit Gohel on Aug. 10, 2002, at Perche Baptist Church in Harrisburg, 
and he survives.

She graduated from Hickman High School in 1995 and earned a bachelor’s degree in 
biology from Truman State University in Kirksville in 2003. She was a member of 
CenterPoint Church in Columbia. She was employed with Urology Consultants as an 
administrative assistant.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Jonathan Phillips of San Diego, Calif.; her 
paternal grandmother, Betty Elam of Effingham, Ill.; and her maternal grandparents, 
Verl and Jean Bridges of Stewardson, Ill.

Memorials are suggested to The Charis Memorial Fund, in care of Memorial Funeral 
Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W., Columbia, Mo., 65202.
