E. ARTHUR HAINES 

E. Arthur Haines, 86 , passed away on May 31, 2008 in Victorville. He was born on 
Dec. 30, 1921 in Glendale, Calif. He was an 86-year resident of California, a 20-year 
resident of Hesperia and an eight-year resident of Victorville. He owned Haines 
Electric Company in Burbank for 40 years until he retired to the Victor Valley in 1986. 
He was a World War II naval veteran and served in the Aleutian Islands. 
 He is survived by his wife Doris J. Haines, of Victorville, his daughter Sandra Haines 
of Victorville, grandchildren Matt and Kimberly O’Brien of Victorville, Jessica and 
James Kruppa of Perris, great-granchildren Christopher and Katie Wilson of Victorville, 
sister Luella Hahn of Glendale, sister Irmalaine Burton of Brea and sister Beverly Jean 
Freebery of Florida. 
 Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Sunset Hills 
Mortuary in Apple Valley. A service will be held at 9 a.m. on June 9, 2008, at Little 
Church of the Flowers at Forest Lawn in Glendale. Wayne Stockstill will officiate. 
Burial will be at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills. 
 Memorial donations can be sent to Dr. Jack Van Impe Ministries, P.O. Box 7004, 
Troy, MI 48007. 
 Sunset Hills Mortuary is handling arrangements.
