 Linda Nanne Holm Howard, 95, of Modesto died Sunday at Casa de Modesto. 

 Mrs. Howard was a native of Deer Park, Wis. She lived in Modesto seven years and 
previously in Sacramento. She was a teacher. She taught at public schools in North 
Dakota, Texas, Kansas and California for about 25 years. 

 She is survived by her children, Edwin L. Howard of Modesto and Mary Jo Durham of 
Orinda; brother, Henry A. Holm of North Carolina; and five grandchildren and two 
great- grandchildren. 

 A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. March 18 at College Avenue Congregational 
Church. Burial will be at Presidio National Cemetery, San Francisco. 

 Remembrances may be made to the College Avenue Congregational Church memorial 
fund, 1341 College Ave., Modesto 95350, or Habitat for Humanity of Stanislaus 
County, 2301 Woodland Ave., Modesto 95350.
