Myrtle "Jean" Dudley Hutchings Our beloved Myrtle "Jean" Dudley Hutchings, 65, 
passed away December 4, 2004. She was born December 6, 1938, in Spanish Fork, 
Utah, to Mervin Wade and Myrtle Ester Dudley. Jean developed many friends over her 
life. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School. She married Bert Arnold Elliot, and 
later divorced. Later, she married Von M. Hutchings, and together they raised eight 
girls and one boy. After 16 years together, they divorced.
She worked for many years at Bunce's Care Center and the Utah Valley Care Center, 
and then retired after working at the Utah State Hospital. Jean was an active member 
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to volunteer as a Pink 
Lady at the U.V.R.M.C., do flower arranging, go to musical plays and concerts. Her 
greatest joy in life was being with her family and doing all kinds of activities with each 
of them. She is survived by her
children: Debra (Keven) Twitchell, of American Fork; Sheryl (Joedy) Sisler, of Las 
Vegas; Trina (Lynn) Barney, of Payson; Kristine Coffman, of Provo; Connie Becker, of 
Orem; Rochelle Hutchings, of Provo; Robin (Derek) Sass, of Washington Terrace; & 
Rolonda Johnson, of Las Vegas. Also surviving her are 19 grandchildren, 7 great 
grandchildren; brothers & sisters: Mervin (Flora) Dudley, of Orem; Leah Snelson, of 
Springville; and Kathleen (John) Porter, of Payson. She was preceded in death by her 
parents; a brother, Glen Dudley; a son, Craig Hutchings; and a granddaughter, Alexis 
Joy Sass. Friends may call for a visitation at the Berg Mortuary in Provo on Tuesday, 
December 7, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 
8, 2004, at the Berg Mortuary Drawing Room Chapel 185 E. Center Street, Provo, 
Utah, at 11 a.m., with a viewing an hour prior. Interment will follow in the Provo City
