Isabelle Parker, 93, Bismarck, formerly of Minot, died October 25 2012 at a Bismarck
care center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 3:00 p.m. at
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mandan. A private burial will be held.

Isabelle Laverne Jones was born, June 7, 1919 in Williston, ND to Leonard and Ethel
(Wilbur) Jones. She grew up and attended school in Williston and graduated from
Williston High School on May 28, 1941. She married Sidney Morris Parker on April 9,
1942 in Williston, ND. They resided in Wahpeton, ND while Sidney worked for the
railroad. They moved to Minot in 1960. Sidney died July 18, 1980. Isabelle moved to
Bismarck after losing her home to the flood in June of 2011.

Isabelle was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in July of 1968. She shared
what she learned with her family, which resulted in her parents and siblings also
serving Jehovah God.
Her favorite color was purple. She loved butterflies and she had decorative ones
throughout her home. She loved to garden and shared her hard work with others. She
enjoyed her kitchen. Always having friends over for a meal brought her great joy. She
offered her home for anyone needing a place to stay and enjoyed entertaining the
traveling friends when they visited the congregation. She shared her baked goods and
canning treats with all who would stop in for a visit.

She always saw good in others. Even when being taken advantage of or treated
unkind, she still saw individuals as Jehovah God's children, so always treated them
with kindness back.
Her quietness was evidence of her extreme wisdom. When she had a view or advice
to share, it would be to the listener's advantage to take it to heart.

She will be remembered by her glistening eyes and sweet smile. Her love of Jehovah
was expressed in everything she did. She gave Jehovah credit for all good she
experienced in her 93 years of life. She was always grateful for her loving family and
her loving spiritual family as well.

She is survived by her sister, Jaclyn Finley, Tacoma, WA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard & Ethel Jones, her husband, Sidney,
her brother, William and her sister, Janet.
