Mike was born March 10, 1942 in McMinnville, Oregon to Walter and Myrtie (Otos) 
Wilja. He graduated in 1960 from Battle Ground High School. 

 He married his best friend from 7th grade, MaryLou Jewell in 1960. They enjoyed 53 
years together beach- combing along the coast, RVing around the country, tinkering 
and building many treasure red items from his woodshop, antiquing and many stories of 
his life he shared. 

 Mike is survived by his loving wife, MaryLou; two children Lance Wilja and Lynette 
Wilja Williamson (Doug); five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

 As a husband, father and grandfather, 

 he will be missed very much.
