Dale E. Loofburrow, 83, died of cancer Friday, March 21, 2006, at his home in 
Aberdeen. He was born in Prosser, on July 26, 1922, to Edward and Jennie 
Loofburrow. He grew up in the Wenas Valley, graduating from Naches High School. 
While serving in the army, he married Merrie Marvelle (Billie) of Yakima, on May 10, 
1944, and together they raised two daughters, Vicki (Loofburrow) Parsons and Judi 
(Loofburrow) Strycharz. 

 Mr. Loofburrow was very much a "people-person", known for his quick wit, engaging 
humor into his everyday life. He was employed as a life insurance salesman and 
throughout his years in Yakima, he was active in the Church of Christ, preaching, 
song-leading, directing the youth, as well as singing with his brother, John, in a 
quartet. 

 He was preceded in death by Billie, his wife of 55 years, who died of cancer in May, 
2000; his mother; father; brother; and three sisters, Anna Duggins, Betty Loe and 
Helen Meyers. He leaves behind a sister, Catherine Cronin; his daughters; six 
grandsons, Stephen and Michael Parsons, Jorgen, Zachary, Gabriel and Joel 
Strycharz; his wife of five years, Lucy (Turner) Loofburrow; a stepson, Wayne; two 
stepdaughters, Debra and CheRee; stepgrandsons; and granddaughters; several 
nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Aug. 12, 2006, at the Church of Christ in 
Central Park .
