RUSSELL Beatrice M. Beatrice M. Russell of the Point/Shoreland Community passed 
away on Friday, June 15, 2012, in Mercy St. Vincent Hospital at the age of 89. She 
was a very wonderful baker and cake decorator. Beatrice also was a member of her 
walkers breakfast club, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and made many baby layettes 
and afghans. She was also a devoted mother and wife who took care of her loving 
husband until his death in 2008. Beatrice was preceded in death by parents, Vincent 
and Bessie (McGuire) Davis; loving husband, John Russell (2008), and daughter, 
Jeanne Bea Snoddy (1980). Left to cherish her memory are children, John (Pam) 
Russell and James (Judy) Russell; grandchildren, Shawn (Rebekah) Snowdy, Adrienne 
Ratke, Regan MacCawley, Richard Russell, and Caitlin Russell, as well as 2 great-
grandchildren. Visitation will begin in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 
N. Summit St., (419.726.1583) on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. 
Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 20, 2011, with 
Pastor Larry Urban Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. Those 
wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Alzheimer's
