and real estate businesses. IN 1888, appt'd mayor of Swanton, on expiration of term, 
elected mayor. Served as clerk of school board. In 1895 elected to Ohio legislature 
representing Fulton Co. as Republican. Chair of committee on Taxation, member of 
commitees on Dairying and Food, Elections, and Insurance.
