1960s and eventually sold to Harborlite in 1996. Ned enjoyed a richness of life and 
experience. From safaris in Kenya to tasting the finest wine in the cellar of a Burgundy 
chateau, or simply watching UT Football and playing with his family in the pool, Ned 
filled his life with variety.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Ned Vaughan Scott and Sue Haley Scott 
and his sister, Rosemary Scott. He is survived by his second wife, Carol Norwood 
Scott, and his children from his first marriage, his daughter, Kathryn Joan Scott and 
her husband Wenda Gu and their daughter, Simone of Brooklyn, NY and Shanghai, 
China; his son, James William Scott and his wife Alisa and their sons, Dylan and 
Christian of Fredericksburg, TX; and from his second marriage, his daughter, Shannon 
Scott and her partner Kimberly Wilkins of Austin, TX; his son, Ned Vaughan Scott III, 
and his wife, Callie and their children Jackson and Sophia of Houston, TX.
He was buried at the side of his loving parents and beloved sister in Memorial Oaks 
Cemetery. Donations can be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Research and 
Prevention Foundation.
