JOSEPH - Darlene Shipp DeBoer, 77, Indianapolis, and formerly Joseph, passed away 
Nov. 20, 2007, at her home in Indiana.

She was born May 3, 1930, in Joseph, to Charles Edward and Mable Eugenia French 
Shipp.

She married Owen Frances “Bud” DeBoer. He preceded her in death Nov. 12, 2001.

After their marriage, Darlene and Bud settled down in Indianapolis and made their 
home there. They lived there for 35 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginger (Jay) Darlington, Indianapolis; grandson, Drew 
J. Darlington, Ohio; sister, Carol Gleave, Orem; and brother, Jack (Lorraine) Shipp, 
Joseph.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; parents; and brothers, Rodney 
Shipp and Charles Shipp Jr.

Funeral services were held Nov. 24, in Indianapolis.

Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m., in the 
Joseph Cemetery.
