	Thomas received his education at Haverford College, where he received an 
A.B. degree in 1896 and an A.M. degree in 1897, Harvard University, where he 
received a Ph. D. in 1901, and Ohio State University, where he received an M.D. 
degree in 1912. Thomas was a psychiatrist and psychologist. From 1901 until 1915, he 
was assistant professor of philosophy and professor of psychology at Ohio State 
University. In 1913 and 1914, Thomas was first assistant physician at Boston 
Psychopathic Hospital. From 1915 until 1920, Thomas was professor of medicine at 
Ohio State University. He belonged to numerous professional associations. Thomas 
was a member of the Religious Society of Friends.
	In 1915, Thomas wrote "Mental Measurement of the Blind".
	In 1939, Thomas lived in Montclair, N.J.
Martha Raley's sister Rachel married Jacob Maule (1E872). Thomas and Rachel had 
no children.
	Thomas and Helen had no children.
