Virginia Van Dorn Rumel, 81, died May 19, 1992. She was born Jan. 25, 1911 in 
Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Nicholas John and Florence Whetstone Gilbert. Virginia 
married Carrol A. Van Dorn; he died August 20, 1973. She later married John H. 
Rumel; he died Nov. 29, 1983. She was employed by Keith O'Brien for 50 years. She 
was a member of the American Business Women's Association, the Ladies Oriental 
Church. 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 1992, 1 p.m. in the Larkin Mortuary, 
260 East South Temple, where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to the 
services.
