	Verde graduated from the University of Nebraska, earning a degree in 
electrical engineering.  Verde is a retired electriral engineer. He worked for the Edison 
Commonwealth Company in Chicago, Ill.  Verde was a Mason.
Ethel's parents, surnamed Fremoux, died in the 1918/19 flu epidemic. Ethel was a 
secretary.
Until 1964, Verde and his family lived in Wheaton, Ill.  After Ethel died, Verde lived in 
Brockport, N.Y., Greensboro, N.C., and for the last five years of his life, in Lincoln, 
Neb.
Verde was cremated after memorial services on Nov. 17, 1986, at Eastridge 
Presbyterian Church, Lincoln, Neb.
