Deceased Name: Joy Chessington TeSelle
94, completed her long and fulfilling life when she died gently on June 1, 2009 in 
Albuquerque, New Mexico. Joy was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 29, 1915. 
She was in Wyoming and Cuba in her early years, and she lived many years in 
California before moving to Albuquerque nine years ago. Joy delighted in life and all 
who knew her expressed their special love for her. She was passionate about nature, 
family, work, gardening, art, dancing, justice, learning, and spiritual communion. Joy 
was a most loving mother to her three children, Davis TeSelle (with Stephanie Kaza), 
Judith MacQuigg (with John MacQuigg), and Nancy Wood (with Steve Wood). Four 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren are hers. The family will receive friends 
for a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral 
Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, 764-9663. A reception will follow at the 
home of her daughter Judith. Remembrances expressing our immense gratitude may be
