BOYD, - JR. Austin Boyd, Jr., 86, of Ponte Vedra Beach, died January 24, 2002 at 
Glenmoor. He was born August 23, 1915 in Lansdowne, PA and moved to Ponte Vedra 
30 years ago from Ridgewood, N.J. He was the retired Executive Vice President of the 
Lansdell Company and a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Family members include 
his daughter, Suzanne Kelly of Weare, N.H.; sons, John L. Boyd of New Castle, CO 
and Peter L. Boyd of Hewitt, N.J.; 4 grandchildren and his much loved companion, Sis 
Johnston of Hutchinson, KS. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26th 
in the Christ Episcopal Church with the Reverend Dr. Jim Cooper, officiating. In lieu of 
flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, the 
National Kidney Foundation or to the American Diabetes Association. Services under 
the direction and care of QUINNSHALZ, A FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION
