Lois E. Morrison 

Lois E. Morrison, 85, of 711 Imperial Dr., Lancaster, was the wife of Robert S. 
Morrison, Sr. They were married for 62 years. Born in Houston, TX in 1919, she was 
the daughter of the late George and Julia Leur Courtney. 

She graduated from Massey Business College in 1938 and worked in Houston for 
Cameron Steel Co. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Lancaster 
where she was a member of the Alter Guild for 18 years. She enjoyed painting, sewing, 
quilting and craft making for many years. Her religious artwork was displayed by the 
Manheim Ministerial Assoc. for many years. She worked as a clerk at the gift shop of 
Lancaster Comfort Inn for 16 years. She was a member of the Lancaster Engineering 
Scholarship Assoc. where she served for three terms as secretary and was considered 
their Resident Artist for many years.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Robert S., Jr. of Williamsport, PA; a 
daughter Patricia Courtney Sheddan of Houston, TX; 5 grandchildren and 4 great 
grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be from the Young Funeral Home, 317 E. Orange St., Lancaster, 
PA on Friday at 2PM with Father John Emmert officiating. Interment will be in 
Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster PA. There will be no public viewing however the 
family will recieve friends on Friday from 1:30-2PM.
