MAULE-Quentin F. Dr. August 30, 1919-March 16, 2000. Of Maryland and Florida. 
Died in Sarasota Fla. from Lymphoma Chemo complications. Burial was in Sand 
Springs, Ok., his birthplace. He received a Doctors Degree in Classical Art History 
from Berkeley and was an authority on Etruscan Bronzes. He had taught at 
Universities of Arkansas, Illinois and Fordham. He also worked at Hearst and Time 
Publications. He retired from the Smithsonian in 1983. In 1942 while attending the 
University of Chicago he unknowingly worked on the first atomic chain reaction. In 
1944 he enlisted in the American Field Service. He donated his art book collection to 
the University of Arkansas. His love and wisdom are deeply appreciated. Happy
