Marjorie E. (Kelly) Goepfert, 85 of Goshen, died on December 26, 2013. She was the 
wife of the late Otto W. Goepfert who died in 1998. Marjorie is survived by a cousin, 
Sara Frysinger and a cousin Nathan Hale. She was predeceased by three cousins; 
Martha Hale, Lewis Mills and Laurence Mills.

 Mrs. Goepfert was born on December 16, 1928 in Yonkers, New York. She was the 
daughter of the late James W. and Marjorie R. (Neave) Kelly. She was employed by 
The Chase Manhattan Bank in New York for thirty -five years, retiring in December 
1983, at which time she and her husband moved to Goshen. Marjorie was very active 
with Trinity Episcopal Church for more than twenty-five years.

 Calling hours are from 4 to 5 pm. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Rowe Funeral 
Home, 283 Torrington Rd., Litchfield. A celebration of Life will take place on January 
9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, 220 Prospect St., Torrington. 
Burial will occur in the Spring at Center Cemetery, Goshen.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Goshen Hospice, P.O. Box 202, 
Goshen, CT 06756 or Trinity Episcopal Church, Book of Remembrance, 220 Prospect 
Street, Torrington, CT 06790.
