	Arthur graduated from Marple-Newtown High School, Newtown Square, Pa., 
and Taylor Business School, Phila., Pa.  He worked in the passenger department of 
the Canadian National Railways from 1940 until 1979, when he retired.  He worked in 
Philadelphia, Kansas City, Mo., and New York.
	From January 1941 to February 1946, he served in the U.S. Army.  He 
enlisted as a private and was discharged as a First Lieutenant, Infantry.  He served at 
various places in the United States and the South Pacific.
	Arthur is not married. 
	In 1981, Arthur lived at 33-35 76th St. Jackson Heights, N.Y. 11372.
