Mildred W. Maule of Honey Brook

Mildred W. Maule, 85, of Honey Brook, formerly of Pomeroy, died Thursday,
June 30, 2005, at the Hickory House Nursing Home. 

She was the wife of the late Jesse B. Maule, who passed away in 1991. 

 Born in Andrews Bridge, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late
W. Horace and Olive Baker Wright. 

An area resident all of her life, she was a graduate of Cochranville High
School, class of 1937. 

Mildred was a member of the Pomeroy Methodist Church, where she was active
with the women's group. 

She was a past treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of Pomeroy Fire Company and
a member of the Golden Age Club of Cochranville. 

She is survived two sons, W. Horace Maule Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of
Christiana, and Kenneth E. Maule of Quarryville; and three daughters, Arlene
M. Gentry and her husband, Cecil, of Coatesville, Thelma L. McClintock and
her husband, Roland, of Parkesburg, and Audrey M. Franciscus of Pomeroy;
nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; seven
step-grandchildren; seven great-step-grandchildren; and two siblings, Paul
Wright of Hanover and Louise Dickey of Parkesburg. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers Paul and James Wright. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, at the Wilde
Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, 610-857-5551, where family and
friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service. 

Interment will follow at Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pomeroy United
Methodist Church, P.O. Box 68, Pomeroy, PA 19367; or to Samaritan Care
Hospice of PA, 653 Skippack Pike, Suite 12A, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
