Jimmie Wayne Tucker was a fourth generation Texan born in Big Spring, Texas on 
February 27, 1942 and passed away on July 3, 2005 in Conroe, Texas. Jim was 
preceded in death by his father, E.T. Tucker, his mother, Delma Tucker of Big Spring, 
Texas and brother, Sonny Tucker of Vealmore, Texas. He is survived by his loving 
wife Becky of 45 years. Daughter, Brenda Platt of Flower Mound, Texas; Sons, Brad 
and Jeff Tucker of Conroe, Texas; Sister, Thelma Blake of Sweetwater, Texas and six 
grandchildren, Cindy, Scott, Parker, Austin, Ryan and Brooke. Jim was a devout 
Christian and a deacon in his church, a loving husband and father. He was a C.P.A. 
by trade and worked his entire career in the oil industry. He was a mentor to all three 
of his children. He helped create several churches and businesses and had a giving 
heart. He is now pain free and has left this world much too early to be with his Lord 
and Savior. Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at Conroe Funeral 
Directors Chapel located at 1504 N. Thompson in Conroe, Texas. The viewing starts 
at 1 P.M. and the Funeral Service begins at 3 P.M.
