m. 1895 to William A. Melcher (1872-1961) from Salem, and mother of Alberta Harriet 
Melcher, b. 1897 in Reading, infant Edna M. Melcher, b. & d. 1896, Danvers, and 
another infant child who died before 1900.

Alberta remained in Middleton with her mother's cousin, Fannie Flint (1862-1927, 
Jordan (1927-2008) of Cape Elizabeth and Dexter, Maine.

William was in Portland around World War I. By 1928 father & daughter were both in 
Cape Elizabeth, and about 1930, they were all at Fickett Street, South Portland. 
Alberta was there at least through W.W. II. William remained there to 1956, and was 
at 286 Front Street to his death in 1961.
