Phyllis Marilyn Chesley, 85, passed away Jan. 27, 2013. She is survived by her 
children, Don (Sharon) Chesley, Don (Carol) Cook, Ed (Cheryl) Cook and Judy (Wayne) 
Petsch; daughter-in-law, Carol Knuth; grandchildren, Mike (Shelly) Cook, Dawn Cook, 
Mark Abbott, Eric Cook, Stephanie Biby, Melissa (Willard Morrow) Cook; Ginger (Clint) 
Hartman, Jessica (Josh) Kramer, Rob Knuth, Cliff (Stephanie) Knuth and Christy 
(Casey) Livermann. She also is survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous 
nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Chesley; 
son, Kenny Cook; parents, Gillard and Marguerite Hocking; sisters, Jean Boughton, 
Betty June Kemple; and brothers, Leroy Hocking, Joe Hocking and Jimmy Hocking. 
She retired from Parkview Hospital after 33 years of service and worked at Daylight 
Donuts. She loved her family and especially enjoyed going to the weekly family 
dinners out and camping with the grandchildren. At her request, there will be no 
viewing. Memorial service, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, 
with inurnment to take place at a later date at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Online
