Todd Michael Keithley, of Plano, TX, passed away in his home, Saturday, July 17, 
from heart failure. He was 59. Born August 24, 1950, in Providence, RI, Todd was 
raised in Parsons, KS, and Belleville, IL. In 1972, he was graduated from Indiana 
University, Bloomington, IN, after which he attended Washington University, St. Louis, 
MO, for postgraduate study. During this time, he also served in the Indiana Air 
National Guard and the Missouri Air National Guard. Todd married Susan De Hart, his 
college sweetheart, on March 28, 1981, in Houston, TX. Following school and his 
military service, Todd began what would be a successful career in hospital 
management, first as a hospital administrator in St. Louis and ultimately as a senior 
corporate executive in marketing and business development with several national 
healthcare companies. At the time of his death, he was Vice President of Development 
in the Dallas office of Sunrise Healthcare Management. During his career, Todd held 
senior positions in marketing and development with Cornerstone Health Management, 
Inc., Dallas; Triumph Healthcare, Houston, TX, and American Medical International, 
Inc. (AMI), also in Houston. Before joining Triumph Healthcare, Todd founded then 
sold a consulting practice that provided senior executives across the country, primarily 
in healthcare, with marketing, business development and strategic planning services. 
Todd was a lifelong friend and mentor to many in the medical community. He was 
responsible for recruiting hundreds of doctors to Texas. He was a champion for, and a 
sponsor of, young people who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction. He enjoyed life 
and was an avid cook, a lover of dogs and a kitten, and a true and generous friend. 
Most of all, Todd was a loving husband to Susan, his wife and partner of 30 years. In 
addition to his wife, Todd is survived by a brother, Jay (Debi), of Reston, VA; a sister, 
Kyle, of Houston; a brother-in-law, Stephen (Shirley) De Hart, of Noblesville, IN; four 
nieces and nephews, (Jamie Keithley, Kevin Keithley, Stacy De Hart, Jennifer De 
Hart); one uncle, Sal Rotunno (Tricia), of Dorset, VT, and his mother-in-law, Thelma 
De Hart, of Noblesville, IN. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Glen F. and 
Muriel Rotunno Keithley. In accordance with Todd's wishes, he will be cremated. A 
memorial service will celebrate Todd's life at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 22, at Prince of 
Peace Catholic Church, 5100 Plano Parkway West, in Plano. In lieu of flowers, the 
family asks that memorial gifts be made in Todd's name to DFW Cocker Spaniel 
Rescue, P.O. Box 824214, Dallas, TX 75382
