Hazel M. Compton

 Hazel M. (Scott) Compton, 91, Columbus, Ohio, died at 5:04 p.m. Saturday at the St. 
Ann's Hospital, Westerville, Ohio.

 Mrs. Compton was born May 7, 1902, in Johnson County. She married Earl Bills 
Compton, a Shelby County native, who died Feb. 6, 1988.

 Mrs. Compton is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gale (Lois) Ayres, Rockbridge, Ohio, 
with whom she resided for several years; two grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

 Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Rest Haven Cemetery, 
Edinburgh.

 The Shoemaker Funeral Home, Columbus, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.

 Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
