Sherman Foster, 90, of Washington Township, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.
 Born Sept. 27, 1913, in Shelby County, he was the s/o  Ralph and  Etta (Brown) 
Foster.  Married  Dorothy Marie Davis  on April 3, 1935, and she preceded him in 
death on Sept. 26, 1993.
 Survivors include two daughters,  Janet Bush (husband Don), Shelbyville;  Judy 
Crafton (husband Thomas), Cumming, Ga.; six grandchildren,  Ron Bush  and  Carol da 
Silva, both of Shelbyville,  David Crafton  of Cresthill, Ill.,  Charla Trimble  of Keystone 
Heights, Fla.,  Chad Crafton  of Cumming and  Keri Crafton  of Clermont, Fla.
 Preceded in death by one brother,  Lawrence Foster.
 Lifelong Shelby County resident.
 Farmed in Washington Township through his 65th birthday.  Employed at Amos 
Plastics, (later became Alma Plastics), Edinburgh.  Fence builder during the 
Depression and a grave digger at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.
 Graduated in 1931 from Flat Rock High School.
 Member of Flat Rock Christian Church.
 Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home, 819 S. Harrison St.
 George Plantz, minister, officiating.
 Burial  in Flat Rock Cemetery in Flat Rock.
