The Fredericksburg native was born to the late Melbourne Casper and Mary Katheryn 
(Foster) Durnil.

He retired from the Marion General Motors plant. He was a member of First Friends 
Church and CPC Sympathy Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling.

Survivors include daughters, Judith K. Baker and Vicki J. Durnil, both of Marion; 
sisters, Eulah Beck, Marion, and Mary Sloniker, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Donna K. 
(Rod) Boatwright, Tonya Sue (Randy) Smith, William Brian (Lisa) Mauller, Tracie J. 
Anderson and Jennifer J. Dickson; great-grandchildren, Sarah (Daryl) Yeakle, Jessica, 
Corry, Nathan, Tiffany, Aaron, Nichole, Casie and Katylin; and great-great 
grandchildren, Cameron and Austin Yeakle.

He also was proceeded in death by his wife, Pearl LaVelle (Brown) Durnil in 1996; and 
brother, Archie Durnil.
