On Friday, 15 July 2011, Magness Joe Chambers, 92, passed away in Sepulveda, 
California.
He was born on Wednesday, 21 May 1919 in North Hollywood, CA., and was the son 
of Magness Jewell Chambers and Rosalie (Nobles) Chambers.
Joe served in the United States Navy during World War II as a naval hospital 
apprentice first class and was honorably discharged in 1945.
Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife of 73 years, Grace I. Chambers, daughter, Carole 
(Chambers) Hamilton, son, Rob Chambers, sisters, Ruth (Chambers) Lindeman and 
Rosemary (Chambers) Humphrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Magness Jewell Chambers and Rosalie 
(Nobles) Chambers, brother, Oliver Chambers, sister, Mildred (Chambers) Jenkins.
