Bill, age 90, passed away on January 31, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the son 
of Albert John Cope, Sr. and Ethel Mabel Wesson Ludlow and was born and raised in 
Salt Lake City. He was married to Gloria B. Ellison, March 6, 1947 in the Salt Lake 
LDS Temple by Elder Harold B. Lee.

He served in the US Navy during World War II, and after he returned home he earned 
a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Utah. He worked for many 
different companies throughout his life and later set up his own private CPA practice.

He served as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple for over seven years and 
held various callings in the LDS church. For his leisure times he loved to read and 
travel.

Survived by daughter, DebraLynne Cope, Salt Lake City; son, Kevin, Tucson, Arizona; 
sister, Helen Hanes; and brother, Alan (Shirley) Cope; 2 grandchildren, Aaron and 
Allison Cope. Preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services, Tuesday, February 5, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church on 7500 So 700 
East, viewing at 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. There will also be a viewing 
Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 So 2300 East. Interment at the 
Salt Lake City Cemetery. Messages to the family can be posted at:
