Floyd B. Bowser, 76, Lee's Summit, died June 15, 1992, at the Lee's Summit Hospital. 
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Langsford-Cox Chapel; cremation. 
Mr. Bowser was born in Philadelphia and lived in Oxnard, Calif., and St. Louis before 
moving to Lee's Summit 21/2 years ago. He was a photographer for the St. Louis 
Post-Dispatch from 1952 until he retired in 1979. He worked for the St. Louis Star-
Times from 1933 to 1952. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member 
of the Rusty Zipper Coffee Club, the Lee's Summit Art Association and the Friday 
Duplicate Bridge Group. He was a volunteer at the Lee's Summit Hospital. Survivors 
include his wife, Phyllis Bowser of the home; three sons, Philip Bowser, Roseburg, 
Ore., Chandler Bowser, Lee's Summit, and Keith Bowser, Monrovia, Md.; and five 
grandchildren.Edition: METROPOLITAN
