MAN DIES OF CRASH INJURIES LYNDON STATION, WIS.


 
La Crosse Tribune (WI) — Tuesday, May 21, 1991
A Prairie du Sac man died Monday from head injuries he sustained in a car accident 
on I-90-94 near Lyndon Station Sunday afternoon. Charles D. Callen, 42, died Monday 
morning at University Hospital in Madison after being thrown from a vehicle driven by 
Joseph B. Chestnut, 46, of Baraboo. A Wisconsin State Patrol spokewoman said 
Callen and Chestnut were traveling eastbound, approaching a construction site, when 
another vehicle cut in front of them. The spokeswoman said Chestnut swerved to 
avoid a collision and lost control of the vehicle. The car went into the median and 
rolled over. Callen was taken to St. Claire Hospital in Baraboo, and was transferred by
