Obituary of Michael Mullen, Sr.

Michael (Mike, "Moondog") Mullen, Sr (61) of Jamestown, NY left his Earthly home for 
his Eternal home on Sunday, April 3rd @1:43am. He was the son of James Joseph 
Mullen and Bette Jayne Johnson Mullen who predeceased him. He was employed at 
TitanX (Blackstone) for 35 years. 

His spiritual path was aided by his active membership at Christ First United Methodist 
Church where he also sang in their choir. He was also a member of the Jamestown 
Harmony Express Barbershop chorus and a former member of the Fluvanna Fire 
Department. His hobbies included camping and playing golf playing regularly at 
Breezewood Golf Links. He is now perfecting his swing on the greens in heaven. He 
was also an organ donor. He was a generous, gentle giant of a man who loved 
everyone He met. 

He is survived by his best friend and soul mate Robin Roberson Mullen whom he 
married on July 25, 1981, His beloved children Dawn (John) Pickett of Jamestown, 
Michael (Kelly) Mullen Jr. of Hatfield, PA , and Alex Lexi (Jessica) Mullen. He was the 
amazing "Gampa" to his Grandchildren McKenzie, Zachary, and Emmory Pickett and 
Leland and Riley Mullen. Also survived by his loving dogs Ralph and Cooper. He was 
the brother of Linda (Ed) Lloyd of Sheffield PA, Lisbeth (Rick) Shevalier Richmond VA 
, Joseph (Debbie) Mullen, and Mark (Rhonda) Mullen, of Jamestown NY Also survived 
by many nieces and nephews. He is pre deceased by his parents and his sister Jeri 
Lundgren, and his best friend Jon Sundholm. Calling for Michael will be 4 to 7 pm on 
Tuesday April 5th 2016 at Linds and the funeral service will be held at Christ First 
United Methodist Church @ the corner of Lakeview and Buffalo St in Jamestown NY 
@4:30pm on Wednesday April 6th 2016. Donations can be made to Christ First United 
Methodist Church.
