Roxanne K. Hitchcock, 45 of 650 1/2 Buffalo St., Jamestown, died unexpectedly at 
11:33 a.m. Tuesday (April 14, 2009), in her home.
She was born May 29, 1963, in Jamestown, the daughter of Hoyt and Dorothy 
Roberson.

Roxanne was a 1981 graduate of Jamestown High School, and enjoyed crafting, 
photography, she loved animals and visiting zoos. She especially loved the family 
family dogs.

Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown, are her husband, Matthew A. Hitchcock, 
whom she married July 31, 1982; two daughters: Nicole Hitchcock and Shannah 
Hitchcock, and a son, Brandon Hitchcock, all of Jamestown; two grandchildren: 
Matthew Lee Hitchcock and Isabel Maddison Walsh, both of Jamestown; a sister, 
Robin (Mike) Mullen of Jamestown; and a brother, Roylee (Alicia) Roberson of Tucson, 
Ariz.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Roberson.
