Mary Steer Mills 

   Princeton — Mary Steer Mills, 81, died Dec. 10 at her home in Princeton.
   Born in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Mills was an avid gardener and vice president of 
Delaware Valley Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society.
   She is survived by her husband, Robert G. Mills of Princeton; a son and daughter-
in-law, Robert and Pam Mills of East Windsor; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and 
Jim Kifuthu of Hopewell Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Barbara Steer 
of Laguna Beach, Calif.; and six grandchildren, Chris and Andy Kifuthu, John, David, 
Steven and Sarah Mills.
   A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Mather-Hodge Funeral 
Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North American Rock 
Garden Society, Jacques Mommens, P.O. Box 67, Millwood, NY 10546.
