 CONNEAUT, Ohio _ Mark Richard Powers, 33, 311 Mill St., Conneaut, 

 died Monday, April 17, 1995, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center, Ashtabula. 
 He was born in Meadville, May 26, 1961, son of Richard and Beth Thompson Powers. 
 He worked at S&S Tool Inc. in Conneaut and previously at Brookpark Plastics in Lake 
City. He was a member of the Federated Church and taught Sunday school to a group 
of 6th grade boys. He enjoyed camping. 
Besides his parents of Girard, he is survived by his stepmother, Mabel Beck Powers; 
his wife of four years, Barbara Jean Billings, whom he married Nov. 3, 1990; a son, 
Luke Daniel Powers, at home; a sister, Sherri Yost of Union City; three brothers, David 
Powers of Meadville and Greg and Wayne Powers, both of Girard; and his 
grandparents, Harold and Lovina Thompson. 
Friends may call at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main St., East 
Springfield, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a service there 
Wednesday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ed Huntley of the Federated Church officiating. 
Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery, East Springfield.
