Bertie G. LaFever, 96, of Sarasota, Fla., died Aug. 9, 1996. 

 Mrs. LaFever was born Jan. 10, 1900, in Comora, Va. She lived in Akron for 50 years 
until moving to Sarasota in 1987. She was a homemaker. 

 She was the wife of Harold LaFever, who died in Mansfield in 1973, and is survived 
by her daughter, Marcialyn Booth of Sarasota; grandchildren, Kathy Rocher and Gary 
McEnteer, both of Akron; and great-grandchildren, Reed and Halle McEnteer of 
Akron. 

 No services will take place. Burial will be at Sarasota Memorial Park. (Robarts, 1-941
