Richard W. Frick, 80, of Tiffin, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2010, at Volunteers 
of America
Arrangements are pending at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home and Crematory.
Autumnwood Care Center.
On September 1, 1930 in Tiffin, he was born to Judge Harry W. and Dorothy L. 
(Kleinfelter) Frick. He married Rose M. Rahrig on August 27, 1955 in St. Joseph 
Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rose Frick and brother in law, Wilbert J. Rahrig 
of Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents. 
Dick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1949 Tiffin Columbian graduate 
and attended Heidelberg College and Ohio Northern University. He was a Life member 
of K of C (Fourth Degree), Tiffin Lions Club, Tiffin Elks Club, Allen Eiry Senior Center, 
Kiwanis Manor Senior Club, Heidelberg University Fellows President Club and 
Heidelberg University Heritage Society, Tiffin University President Club, University of 
Toledo Heritage Oak Society and University of Toledo Foundation Partners. He was 
also a member of Johnson's Island Civil War Round Table and the American Civil War 
Museum of Ohio. He was the manager at the former Sayger Camera Store, an avid 
photographer, served two terms as Councilman-at-large for the City of Tiffin from 1962 
through December 31, 1965 and volunteered at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 with Rev. 
Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary 
will be prayed 15 minutes prior to mass.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the church from 9:30-10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, Dick's wishes were for friends to donate their time to their favorite 
charity or to assist someone in need.
Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting with arrangements.
