MONTE VISTA — William Edgar LaFever, 82, died at home in Monte Vista on Thursday, 
June 17, 2010. William was born February 23, 1928 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Robert 
Dean and Margaret Elizabeth LaFever.

William served in the United States Air Force during World War II. William enjoyed 
working at Wal-Mart, spending time on the computer on Farm Town, and operating a 
ham radio. Family and other people were most important to William.

Preceding William in death were his parents, stepson Ivan LaFever, and two brothers. 

William's survivors include his wife Wanda Wright, son Larry LaFever, daughters 
Sharon LaFever, Anita LaFever, Kathy Chisholm, and Tammy Wright, one sister, 11 
grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

William chose to donate his body to Science Care. Arrangements were made by 
Strohmayer's Funeral Home.
