George Wilson Duguid, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Duguid, was born March 1, 
1884 and died Nov. 6, 1907, aged 23 years, 8 months and 5 days.

George was a student of Tri-State College in 1902. He married Edna Turner, of Eaton 
Rapids, Michigan, Dec. 21, 1904 and they had two children, Frederick Wilson and 
Vilah Mildred. They spent the better part of their life together on a farm near Eaton 
Rapids. 

In the Fall of 1906, his health began to fail and his family came to the home of his 
Father and spent the winter. 

The family then went back to Eaton Rapids and spent the summer, but all the time, 
that fatal malady, Bright's Disease, was taking a hold of his system. He came home for 
the last time in August. 

Patiently he bore his suffering, although so young in years and with so many bright 
prospects.

Funeral services were held in Covenantor Church in Ray.
